Dehydrated food for dog is another type of dog food and it is available in both cooked form and raw form. This dog food is similar to the dry dog food but it may need warm water addition before serving to the dog. Third type of dog food is the pasteurized dog food which has fresh food ingredients in it. This food for dog is semi cooked and it is kept at cool temperature for using it for 2 to 4 months.
Dog owners also prefer to serve homemade food to their dogs. This food is usually available in a bucket or Tupperware like package. Homemade food does not have many preservatives therefore, it should be consumed within few days.
